The Pimlico Craft Chairs - Cleft

The Pimlico Craft Chairs - Cleft - a celebration of wood itself, showcasing the work to bring a log of a cherry tree to a piece of furniture, through the natural splitting of the timber contrasting the expected flat finish to wooden furniture.

I created this range to celebrate my own crafting process, drawing inspiration from the working chair of a master craftsperson I know. That chair, in her Pimlico home, is sacred to her and obscure to most, but it serves as the core of this tribute.
