Litha’s Mirror

Created in celebration of Midsummer or Summer Equinox, this mirror continues my examination of working with straw and creating objects which celebrate the materials textures and structural properties.

Designed to resemble the sun's glow during the longest days of the year, the mirror's depth of colour and warmth brings a sense of comfort and softening to a space.
