Litha’s Mirror

Created in celebration to Midsummer or Summer Equinox, this mirror continues my examination of working with Straw and create objects which celebrate the materials textures and structural properties.

Designed to resemble the suns glow during the longest days of the year, the mirrors depth of colour and warm brings a sense of comfort and softening to a space.
